Until further notice, the Monacan Indian Nation will be closing each day promptly at 5:00 p.m. Visits from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. are by appointment only. Please contact the main office at 434-363-4864 to schedule an appointment if needed. Thank you for understanding.

The Tribal Office typically follows Amherst county schools’ closing schedule for extreme weather and hazardous conditions for at least the first day of a closing.

THE TRIBAL OFFICE IS ACCEPTING BIDS FOR CLEANING SERVICES:

At this time we are only accepting bids from cleaning companies that are licensed, bonded, and insured.

The Monacan Indian Nation offices are located in Madison Heights, VA. We have four buildings on the property that require cleaning services. Three buildings will require weekly cleaning services and one building will require cleaning services twice a week in addition to a monthly deep clean. Please contact the Tribal Office to schedule a walk through of the buildings.
